I am so pleased to share this amazing budget barn wedding with you today and the fact that this wedding was done on a budget of only $6,000. There is no doubt about it a wedding can cost a fortune but this wedding really demonstrates how on a tight budget you can still get an elegant rustic chic event. This bride was really going for a “A DIY Rustic Country Down-home Southern Barn Wedding” and from the pictures I would say she got exactly that. Thanks to Cali Ashton Photography for allowing us to show off such a great budget friendly wedding. See all our real weddings planned for under $10,000!

June 4, 2013 at 9:14 amI’ve been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me.
In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content
as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.

May 29, 2012 at 1:17 pmWhat an honor to have our wedding featured on the site that offered so much inspiration for us as we planned our own wedding! Brides, you really can have the wedding of your dream on a small budget and I encourage you to do so! I couldn’t have pulled it off if it weren’t for the generosity and creativity of dear friends and family. Many people lent their rustic country chic items from their own home. My mom gathered a crew of helpers and we were able to do everything except for the catering and photography ourselves. I found my dress marked down, almost 90% off, only paying $200 for it. The chairs and tables were all part of the fee for using the Barn, which belongs to Grace Chapel in Leipers Fork, TN. And Nyk and Cali were amazing! Nashville Brides, check out their amazing work at caliashtonphotography.com!!! Brides be blessed and happy planning!!!

May 30, 2012 at 8:21 pmMichelle – I love your wedding!! Congratulations!! Also, do you mind sharing your dress designer/brand? And did you buy it online? I live in Florida and am looking for a deal for a dress as we have a tight budget too and are trying to go more “rustic” as well.
Thanks!

June 10, 2012 at 12:21 pmHi Tracy,
I actually got my dress from the White Room in Nashville. They have a “White Friday” sale the day after Thanksgiving. I don’t remember the brand of the dress. But I highly recommend shopping the big sale weekends at bridal boutiques and shops near where you live. There is also a great website that I was going to fall back on if I did not find a great deal called recycled-bride.com. Brides from all over sell their designer wedding gowns that have only been worn once. Happy Wedding planning!

February 1, 2013 at 9:52 amI’m glad you all love the boots! I do too and wear them all the time! 🙂 The brand is corral and I got them from a western store in Nashville. I believe that Sheplers and Cavendars sell them online. They are an older boot, so it may be hard to find. Do a search for “turquoise inlay” cowboy boots. Good luck!

January 10, 2014 at 4:41 pmMy daughter is having her Barn wedding this June at the Diamond V Farm in Roanoke, Va. A beautiful location in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The venue is 1700.00 and includes tables, chairs and tablecloths. We also have access all day Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday until 11 am to take down any decorations. You can find their website easily if you google Diamond V Farm.
